The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch® program announces the newest 20 members of its Blue Ribbon Task Force, a panel of respected and influential leaders in the culinary community committed to innovative outreach to promote sustainable seafood in 2014.
An intimate VIP Wine Dinner at the Home of Toni Ross Honoring Eric Ripert featuring a four-course meal prepared by the participating chefs and paired with wines by Aldo Sohm (Sommelier – Le Bernardin). Confirmed chefs include the following: Claudia Fleming (North Fork Table and Inn), Justin Smillie (Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria), Michael Cavaniola (Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese Shop), Kerry Heffernan (Finalist “Top Chef Masters” season 4); Steffan Karlsson (Fond- Gothenburg, Sweden; Marc Murphy and Taku Sato (Nobu57).
The Chefs Dinner series is the primary fund raiser for Bridgehampton’s own Hayground School and an annual tribute to the late Jeff Salaway, a widely respected and beloved restaurateur and one of the school’s co-founders. Since it’s inception, this event has raised over $1,000,000 for Jeff’s Kitchen and the Jeff Salaway Scholarship Fund.
